You can't be serious???

Last night we went up to the University of Utah to see the Women's Gymnastics Meet against Arizona State. Man that gals are awesome!!!! My kids loved it. Especially Olivia, she couldn't believe that they were balancing and dancing on a bar!!! But as fate would have, nothing that we do ever goes very easy!

I picked the kids up from daycare and got home in time to get changed, and back out the door again to make it to the meet. We were going to meet my sister Mel and her husband Brent. Just as we were going to get on the freeway, Isaac says to me, "MOM hurry up! I am gonna frow up!" I said what? Then KaBAM! There it came! All over him and the back seat of the car! Of course as OCD as Issac is, he is FREAKING OUT cause puke is all over him, and Olivia is screaming because Isaac is being so loud and it SMELLS! I pull into a gas station and buy some water and papertowels. Clean him up a bit and the seat and start to take him back home. Half way back home, he says, Mom I feel so much better, I want to go to the "nastics" meet! I said no buddy you are sick! He says no I not sick, I feel better. So I thought maybe he got a tad car sick in the back! So another U turn and we are on our way to the U. Of course we were late, but we still caught 2 1/2 rotations so that was good. Isaac acted just fine. Up and down the stairs and laughing and having fun. For sure it was just car sickness! So on our way home the kids are complaining that they are hungry. As well they should be. We didn't eat dinner! It was about 8:50pm! So we stopped at Subway to get a sandwich. We were in line waiting, and Isaac starts freaking out, Mom I am gonna frow up ... so I rush him outside just in time for him to puke all over the sidewalk, and then to the bushes ahead. YUCK! But near miss right? SO I put him back in the car with Kenzie to watch him and take Olivia back inside with me. Just as soon as we are wrapping up the sandwiches, the funny guy helping me looks horrified and starts pointing at Olivia. I look over to see her holding Puke in her hands and it is all in her hair. OH GROSS! I run her right outside in time for her to puke all over the sidewalk as well! OH THE HUMILIATON!!! I came back inside and apologized profusely! The guy helping me said.. Man ! I am sure glad my shift is over in a minute. I don't think I can look at food the rest of the night! The other guys says... Dude that totally just made my night!

YES<>... Zeus (our bulldog) just puked all over our bed!

A night to remember Forever!!! Sorry U gymnastics gals!! RED ROCKS! but we won't be doing that trek for a long time to come! :)

No Habla Espanol !!!

Let me preface this story by telling you, last summer, our kids thought it would be funny to open our bedroom window and stick their hand out the bottom corner of the screen (cause there was a little rip in the screen) Which of course made is a HUGE rip... so we just pulled the screen out and have meant to replace it, but haven't gotten to it yet.
Sunday morning 2/22/09 at 6:47am. Aaron and Teresa are sound asleep in our bed, window cracked open a tad, cause we like the fresh air at night. Suddenly, we are abrubtly awoken from our slumber to the sound of somone at our door. Not just a polite ring, or knock.. no this was the doorbell getting a beating!!!! Constant ring ring ring ring!!! Aaron jumps out of bed and looks out the window and sees this person at our door and shouts (because our window is open a bit) What do you want/? Who are you? and this little latino man comes over to Aaron speaking nothing but Spanish, realizes that our window is open starts to slide it more open, and starts to make his way into our bedroom!!!! Aaron grabs him by the head and pushes him out the window yelling at him to get out of our house, you are not coming in here. Aaron slams the window shut, gets dressed, and makes his way outside to find this little man, over at our neighbors ringing thier doorbell, and banging on the door!! Aaron convinces him to come back down to him to see if he can help. He ends up calling the police who arrive in about 5 min, and the police can't get a thing out of him either. They end up calling a translator and he says that this guy was stabbed and had been running from 8400 West. Once the police heard he might have been stabbed, they started "frisking" him to see where his wound might be, but couldn't find anything. One officer started patting down his pockets to see if he had a weapon, and was stabbed by something sharp. He was freaking out cause they thought it was a needle, but ended up turning his pockets inside out and a bunch of tacks came out. WEIRD right? This guy must have been "tweaking" from drugs of some kind. ! The police ended up taking him back to the station because they didn't know what else to do with him!
My hero, my husband! What a man!! What would I do without him? I don't want to know!!!

Who is this Cupid guy?

For starters, I am not a big Valentines day person. I don't get all "gushy" at V-Day, I don't expect any presents or things from my hubby! I know he loves me and honestly, it is just another day to spend money that we don't have!!! SO I am perfectly fine having just the day as another day in the week. BUT... on the other side of the coin there is VALENTINE"S DAY CANDY!!!! THAT IS SOMETHING THAT I DO GET INTO!!! SO, alas, my kids get all excited to get Valentine's ready for school, and to receive all the goodies later on. Here is the proof of what goes on behind closed doors after the candy has been given out and my kids have "over done" it again!!! They take after their mom with the candy! :O

Olivia, going through her goodies and finding what is best... OBVIOUSLY it HAS to be the FUN DIP that turns your tounge GREEEN!! YUMMY!!! I LOVE FUN DIP!!!!

Isaac after the FUN DIP !! ! Check out those EYES!!! HE IS TOTALLY FOCUSED ON THE CANDY!!! That's my boy!!! SO PROUD!

Kenzie getting her Valentines goodies ready for school the next day!!!

I am going to end with the most precious thing out of the mouths of my babes!!

Conversation on the way home from Day Care on Thursday evening!

Isaac: " MOM!"
Mom: Yes?
Isaac: "did you get a hurt when Cupid shoot you at the heart?"
Mom: What? Cupid ? Is that what you talked about in preschool today?
Isaac: Yeah! And he shoots the peoples and do it hurts?
Olivia: I know how he shoots the peoples... He does it like this... ( Olivia motioning like she is pulling a bow an aarow back!) And they look and it goes whoosh... and then (insert GINORMOUS SIGH!!!) and they say AWWWWWWW !!! (like they just found love!)
Isaac: Yeah mom and guess what? They get very BIG EYES!!!!

TRUE STORY!!!!

Happy valentines Day to all! Happy Treating !!!

9 years seems like forever... yet not long enough!

January 28, 2000! Seems like so long ago, yet just yesterday ! That was the day my bald headed babe and I tied the knot!

Happy Anniversary Aaron! I know you don't ever read this blog, nor do you know how to access it (I am guessing!) But this is just my way of letting everyone know how much I love you!!!

We met almost 11 years ago in April, at Olympus Hills Bowling Lanes. We were both on a summer bowling league that had just started. I remember seeing Aaron at the bowling alley on a Tuesday night, the night before our Wednesday Bowling League started. I was on another league on Tuesday night, and I saw Aaron practicing with a girl down a few lanes from mine. I remember thinking, he is really handsome. I really "DIG" (yes, DIG, remember I am OLD) the bald head and the scruffy beard. Too bad that is his girlfriend. :(
The next night we started our Wednesday Nite LIVE bowling league. AND.... as Fate would have it, My team was bowling against Aaron's team. AND.... as fate would AGAIN step in, we were placed at the same time to bowl. I got all nervous getting up the same time he did thinking, do I talk to him? What should I say, when out of his mouth says.... Okay, Let's go.... let's see who can strike it out! I thought... Oh jeez... what a weirdo.. he is one of THOSE bowlers who are all cocky like and think that bowling a strike means they are the BEST!! We both got up and he let me go first... Deep breath, find my mark and GO....... STRIKE! Ha ! In your face KOJAK!!! He just rolled his eyes, as if that was beginners luck. Of course he bowled a strike. You could just see the cockiness building inside him. Again, it is our turn to bowl, for three more times.... Strike, Strike, Strike. Hee Hee, you can see him getting a little frustrated. Beginners luck my boot!!! I am on FIRE and I LIKE IT!!!
5th frame, it is GAME ON again. He tells me that I am going to choke! and off he goes! Ohh.. ohhh almost.... D'OH!! SPILT!!! Too bad, so sad baldy... better luck next time, STRIKE for "T"! 5 in a row. ! Oh yes... I totally choked after that... but I beat him!! That was all I needed for satisfaction.

It just blossomed from there... Bowling and Best Friends! ! !

Thanks for all the memories, love and laughter we have had so far! ! !

Better Late than Never!!! and Welcome 2009!!!

I had taken lots of pictures for Chritmas, but then I misplaced my camera and didn't find it until tonight! OOPS:)

the kids were ecstactic about christmas!! I think this year Isaac and Olivia really truly belived in Santa. They couldn't wait until morning.

Mckenzie was so cute too, she invited Isaac and Olivia for a sleep over in her bedroom on Christmas Eve.

We always do our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at my moms house, and then read the Nativity Story, and Sing Chritmas Carols. Once we arrived back home the kids were bouncing off the walls. I let them open one present which was their new jammies, as always! Then off to bed!!!

Here is what it all looked like on Christmas morning, before they all tore into the presents!

These pictures are of the kids riping open presents on Christmas morning!

Then we all got dressed and went to Grandma Funk's house for our traditional Ebelskiver Breakfast morning and opening presents there!

We were supposed to head up to Grandma and Grandpa Millet's house after, but the snow storm that hit, sent Grandpa Millet to work to plow the roads up in Davis County! :(
so we postponed Christmas until Saturday. (then of course I misplaced my camera and didn't get to take any pictures up there! :( ) But we had so much fun there as usual! We had a nice dinner, and played a silly white elephant game that Becky puts together!.... Then opened up presents.

After Grandma Funk's we decided to take a trip to see Great Grandma Millet. She was so happy to see her great grandchildren. We don't get up there often enough, so Aaron and I were so greatful that we were able to make it up there.

Can I just say...... WOW!!!

My mom and I had the awesome opportunity to go and see Neil Diamond in Concert on Friday Night (12/19/08) .

Can I just say ..... WOW!!!

What an amazing preformer he truly is!!! I enjoyed myself and for the life of me can't think of why I have only seen him once before this in my life. I grew up with Neil Diamond songs because, let's just say, MOM IS A HUGE FAN! The Jazz Singer record was played more than 100 times at our house. Thinking back, I remember acting out some of the songs with my brothers and sisters. Remember that anyone? Robert E. Lee ? Love on the Rocks? Running around singing . Hava Nagila.... Hava Nagila...... No idea what we were singing, but we certainly thought we did. We were certainly the best preformers ever!!! Seriously!

I will just put a "shout - out" to good ol' Neil and tell him Thanks, you made my lifetime with that concert!!! and also to my Mom, for buying me the ticket and letting me tag along with her!!!

This ones for you MOM>...

Santa Baby.....

We did the trek out to the Mall to see Santa! I figured since I still haven't finished my shopping, maybe I still could get a couple good ideas as well as letting them have time with the big guy with all the toys! Glad we got there when we did. It took all of about 45 minutes, but by the time we left, the line was totally long. I am exhausted though. If you know anything about my children, they don't sit. . . . AT ALL!!! It was over, under, and aroundthe ropes that were holding us all hostage for santa. It was up and down and on their bellies on the ramps that went down into Santa's lodge. It was up and down and up and down the stairs that were around the corner. Not to mention the ponsetia plants on the floor that kept gettting knocked over from their feet running up and down. YIKES! Some lady even spilled her popcorn around the partition and my Isaac found it and was chomping away from it on the floor! YUP! That is my life in a nutshell! AGGHHHH!!!! All I keep saying is Jon and Kate + 8 ... Jon and Kate + 8!!! LOL>

Daddy.????...... I want to be a dancer!!!!

I wasn't very sure this was going to go over too well. Thursday December 11th, Olivia had her first dress rehersal for her Christmas Dance recital. She had fallen asleep at Charie's and waking her up is always a mood killer. She cried all the way there. MOM, I don't want to dance.... I will dance tomorrow!! We get to the church and she just gets WORSE! On the floor throwing a GINORMOUS tantrum! Kicking AND screaming! It was such a lovely display! After I finally bribed her into a barbie doll, (that incidentally, she still hasn't asked for yet!) she decided she might as well get it over with because I wasn't giving up. She got through it and I gave a big sigh, until, I realized I had one more night to go! Oh dear me! What was I up against.
Friday night comes, and I tell her we can put Make-up on for her concert, and she is elated!!! WHEW.... that went over well. We get to the recital, and she RUNS into the dressing room and gives her teacher a HUGE hug and says she is ready to dance. WHO IS THIS CHILD? SERIOUSLY!!!!!
She danced so great! Adorable and beautiful!!! Below is one video of her dance. This was the better of the recordings, even though it is a little shakey. I had Isaac on my lap who just HAD to see in the camera as well, so Please forgive the motion sickness.

Thanksgiving 08!

We went up to Aaron's Parents house this year for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun!! They just moved from Tremonton down to Brigham City, into a cute little house. If you asked them, it needs lots of tender loving care, but if you ask me, it has already gotten tons of care out of them and it looks and is charming!!!!
They have a nice backyard, with an old swing set back there. And they have two very large walnut trees, and that is what Mckenzie and her cousin Arliee were doing pretty much the whole time, picking walnuts! After we ate, and relaxed, we played some games, and Grandma Becky took some of the kids on a walk down to the Tabernacle in B.C. and got to see some christmas lights and the Nativity Story. All in all it was a great Thanksgiving and we are very blessed and so thankful for our wonderful Millet Family!!! We love you all!!!
