Millet Kids Pictures October 2007

Today we went to Kiddie Kandids in Jordan Landing to have pictures taken. It had been a while since we had done professional pictures, and personally I think my mom volunteered to come along so that she would get some pictures of her grandkids that weren't two years old. LOL. Still it was great to have her there and help out.

The kids did really great. We were not sure how it was going to go either. The last time we did this was about 2 years ago around Christmas time. We went to Sears portrait studio and it was a MAD HOUSE. Everyone was there trying to get Christmas Photos taken. My kids were very hard to get to even smile or sit there without crying. I think we left after just getting one pose that even looked acceptable. This time around Isaac and Olivia were quite excited to "Say Cheese". It was Mckenzie that was having the most trouble. She has this little problem called Genes. From her Dad and her Uncle Brandon. They all seem to have just a slight problem with say "forced smiles" . It either ends up looking forced or looking silly! We did end up with having a few pictures turn out with Mckenzie looking like a natural smile so we were happy. But it was funny while we were trying to get her to smile too.

Laughter is always the best medicine!!!

This was around February 2007 giving Olivia and Isaac a bath. They had just learned to sing "Frosty the Snowman" and Olivia was especially proud she could sing it. (with mostly her own words added). So I thought I would tape them singing, hoping that when Olivia would start, Isaac would join in the Fun. But I didn't know what I started but I was very glad I got this one on video. Too precious for words I say!

Here we are, the Millet's! This is something I have never done before... Blogging. Sounds so violent -- Blogging! Oh well, just flow with it right?
This photo was our Summer Vacation in Lake Tahoe, Nevada! Boy did we have fun. I think I would move there, if I had somewhere else to move to in the winter time!
We did lots of relaxing, which in all honesty we needed that. My poor mother had to share a condo with us, and I am sure she went home one tired grandmother, cause when I say we relaxed, I meant my husband and myself. Seriously though... someone had to take care of the kids! LOL
