Can I just say...... WOW!!!

My mom and I had the awesome opportunity to go and see Neil Diamond in Concert on Friday Night (12/19/08) .

Can I just say ..... WOW!!!

What an amazing preformer he truly is!!! I enjoyed myself and for the life of me can't think of why I have only seen him once before this in my life. I grew up with Neil Diamond songs because, let's just say, MOM IS A HUGE FAN! The Jazz Singer record was played more than 100 times at our house. Thinking back, I remember acting out some of the songs with my brothers and sisters. Remember that anyone? Robert E. Lee ? Love on the Rocks? Running around singing . Hava Nagila.... Hava Nagila...... No idea what we were singing, but we certainly thought we did. We were certainly the best preformers ever!!! Seriously!

I will just put a "shout - out" to good ol' Neil and tell him Thanks, you made my lifetime with that concert!!! and also to my Mom, for buying me the ticket and letting me tag along with her!!!

This ones for you MOM>...

Santa Baby.....

We did the trek out to the Mall to see Santa! I figured since I still haven't finished my shopping, maybe I still could get a couple good ideas as well as letting them have time with the big guy with all the toys! Glad we got there when we did. It took all of about 45 minutes, but by the time we left, the line was totally long. I am exhausted though. If you know anything about my children, they don't sit. . . . AT ALL!!! It was over, under, and aroundthe ropes that were holding us all hostage for santa. It was up and down and on their bellies on the ramps that went down into Santa's lodge. It was up and down and up and down the stairs that were around the corner. Not to mention the ponsetia plants on the floor that kept gettting knocked over from their feet running up and down. YIKES! Some lady even spilled her popcorn around the partition and my Isaac found it and was chomping away from it on the floor! YUP! That is my life in a nutshell! AGGHHHH!!!! All I keep saying is Jon and Kate + 8 ... Jon and Kate + 8!!! LOL>

Daddy.????...... I want to be a dancer!!!!

I wasn't very sure this was going to go over too well. Thursday December 11th, Olivia had her first dress rehersal for her Christmas Dance recital. She had fallen asleep at Charie's and waking her up is always a mood killer. She cried all the way there. MOM, I don't want to dance.... I will dance tomorrow!! We get to the church and she just gets WORSE! On the floor throwing a GINORMOUS tantrum! Kicking AND screaming! It was such a lovely display! After I finally bribed her into a barbie doll, (that incidentally, she still hasn't asked for yet!) she decided she might as well get it over with because I wasn't giving up. She got through it and I gave a big sigh, until, I realized I had one more night to go! Oh dear me! What was I up against.
Friday night comes, and I tell her we can put Make-up on for her concert, and she is elated!!! WHEW.... that went over well. We get to the recital, and she RUNS into the dressing room and gives her teacher a HUGE hug and says she is ready to dance. WHO IS THIS CHILD? SERIOUSLY!!!!!
She danced so great! Adorable and beautiful!!! Below is one video of her dance. This was the better of the recordings, even though it is a little shakey. I had Isaac on my lap who just HAD to see in the camera as well, so Please forgive the motion sickness.

Thanksgiving 08!

We went up to Aaron's Parents house this year for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun!! They just moved from Tremonton down to Brigham City, into a cute little house. If you asked them, it needs lots of tender loving care, but if you ask me, it has already gotten tons of care out of them and it looks and is charming!!!!
They have a nice backyard, with an old swing set back there. And they have two very large walnut trees, and that is what Mckenzie and her cousin Arliee were doing pretty much the whole time, picking walnuts! After we ate, and relaxed, we played some games, and Grandma Becky took some of the kids on a walk down to the Tabernacle in B.C. and got to see some christmas lights and the Nativity Story. All in all it was a great Thanksgiving and we are very blessed and so thankful for our wonderful Millet Family!!! We love you all!!!
